The growing popularity of texture in bathroom design is supported by the wide range of colors, materials and finishes available from Kohler Co.
As a leader in the design and development of brass, Kohler prides itself on creating pieces that will enrich and enable an architect or interior designer’s vision through a wide array of colors, finishes, motives and functions.
“The uniformity that was once so popular in bathroom design is giving way to a more varied approach, where a mix of finishes and colors create a rich enhancement of complementary design,” says Lun Cheak Tan , vice president of industrial design at Kohler.
“Our brassware collection responds to this demand for personalized spaces, even unique to a project.” Whether it’s a luxurious walk-in shower with a myriad of hand showers, body jets and showerheads to fully immerse the user or a bathroom with complementary brass accessories that can soothe and refresh, we support the desire to elevate the everyday and immerse the senses.
Kohler offers a wide array of colors, from classic chrome to gleaming gold and brass to striking black. Ranging from warm brushed tones to glossy, polished hues, these finishes can soften or define a bathroom’s aesthetic.
As tough as they are beautiful, the finishes resist corrosion twice as much as the industry standard; ideal for frequent use in luxury hotels and high end developments. Finishes are created using a PVD (Physical Vapor Dispositon) coating, which is extremely scratch, tarnish and corrosion resistant and allows colors to stay vibrant.
Kohler offers this element of customization to specifiers in its brass lines, with recent launches such as Statement, Anthem and Occasion already configured on a wide spectrum of colors and finishes.
