The recent renovation and renovation of the rooms by Studio Aisslinger for the Hotel Seegarten, creates an increased sense of space in the living areas, and the bathroom interiors with striking Dornbracht fittings complete the vision. Most of the materials used, such as wood and stone, are untreated. The materials and choice of products are a clear recognition of the quality found in the region with lighting, furniture and home accessories all sourced exclusively from Sauerland. Dornbracht, based in Iserlohn, is practically a neighbor and is represented by fittings and shower solutions from the Meta series, as well as the Aquamoon wellness shower.

The striking monochrome elegance of Meta in matte black makes a statement in the open and functional interior design concept of the new bedroom schemes. Only a low wall and slanted light wood slats separate the bathroom area from the rest of the room. The floor, parts of the wall and the surround of the bathtub have been covered with a distinctive terrazzo natural stone, which is also used for the washbasin. Two fittings from the Meta series are mounted behind the white countertop washbasins. A concept of maximum reduction, with an almost sculptural appearance, makes an elegant and confident statement here. Another Meta is installed right next to the bathtub – this time a single lever wall-mounted mixer. Here too, the monochromatic elegance of the matte black fittings contrasts subtly with the warm grays of the natural stone, stabilizing its striking pattern and polished surfaces.
